Power Distribution BS 2025/2026
Quickly and easily recharged USB connections make it possible to charge electronic devices such as smartphones or tablets directly on the power strip or adapter using a USB cable.Depending on the model, charging is possible via a USB type A or type C connection with a maximum total charging current of 2.1 A or 3.1 A. Fast chargers combine USB C with intelligent and safe Power Delivery technology. They enable safe and fast charging of the connected device by offering high charging speeds with universal compatibility. Power Delivery dynamically adapts the output power of the charger to the connected device. This means that the connected device only receives as much power as necessary to avoid unnecessarily draining the battery life or overheating. An output from 20 W is perfect for mobile devices with lower power consumption such as smartphones, tablets, headphones and smartwatches. Devices with high power consumption, such as laptops, can also be charged from 45W. If the quick charger has several USB ports, the charging power is distributed across the connected devices: Extension leads and adapters with USB Fast charging with USB C Power Delivery Safe and intelligent charging Single-Charging 30 W Max. Charging power 18 W Max. Charging power + 24 W Max. Charging power Simultaneous charging = = = * Example using the Premium Line socket strip with 30W power delivery module.
